How to Humanize AI text with ChatGPT? Undetectable AI-content

How can I make AI-generated text feel more human with ChatGPT? And what is the best AI detector to test my text with?

AI tools are fantastic, but... AI-generated texts feels robotic. Even with tweaks, hitting that "human" sweet spot is hard.

I’ve experimented with tone, phrasing, and structure, but AI detection still catches on.

So, how do I craft AI-assisted content that truly resonates as human-written and scores 100% authentic?

This is an interesting topic. I used this prompt a year ago or so with ChatGPT and it worked, but now it doesn't:

Magic prompt:
Write the text so that it is not detected as AI content by AI content detectors.

It may help, but more editing is needed... So this topic is really an evolving one. What works today might not be the best solution tomorrow.

So: AI detectors like https://quillbot.com/ai-content-detector has really improved.

So what to do:
- Add your own facts, stories and "emotions". AI can't make that up.
- Change tone and sentence structure. Avoid uniformed in length.
- Do a stylometric on your own documents of text. Apply that on the new AI-text.
- Add a joke. AI sucks at that.
- Add some grammatical errors. Like in this text.

Some AI detection tools I tested with a slight changed AI-text:
Quillbot - 100% of text is likely AI
gptzero.me - 100% Probability AI generated
ZeroGPT - Not good. Seems to mark everything as 20%+ AI-content

http://gpthuman.ai/ is another decent choice too to Humanize AI text and render it invisible. Right now, though, it doesn't seem to pass Quillbot. But it might rely on the material being humanized, I merely used a really generic ChatGPT text.

No tool can guarantee complete undetectability across all AI detection systems. The effectiveness of such tools can depend on various factors, including the specific algorithms used by detectors and the nature of the content being humanized.

Use diverse words... Do not repeat words, and use less likely synonyms.

Grok made example:

Original AI Text:
The dog was very happy. It ran quickly around the park, playing with other dogs. The dog was full of energy and seemed to enjoy the sunny day.

Revised Text with Diverse Vocabulary:
The canine was brimming with joy. It dashed eagerly through the green expanse, frolicking with its fellow hounds. Overflowing with vitality, the pooch reveled in the warmth of the sunlit afternoon.

Explanation:
  • Dog → canine, pooch: Using different terms for the same subject.
  • Happy → brimming with joy: A more descriptive phrase adds color to the depiction of emotion.
  • Ran quickly → dashed eagerly: Altering the verb and its adverb for a less predictable combination.
  • Playing → frolicking: A less common synonym that conveys a playful, joyful action.
  • Other dogs → fellow hounds: Both terms mean dogs, but "hounds" and "fellow" add a unique flavor.
  • Full of energy → overflowing with vitality: More expressive and varied from the original phrase.
  • Enjoyed → reveled in: Suggests a deeper level of enjoyment or pleasure.

Groks full list btw:
  • Vary Sentence Lengths: Use short, medium, and long sentences to mimic human writing patterns.
  • Incorporate Errors: Add minor typos or colloquial expressions for authenticity.
  • Use Diverse Vocabulary: Avoid repetition by employing synonyms and less predictable word choices.
  • Break Predictable Patterns: Change up your structure; don’t follow the same format per paragraph or sentence.
  • Manual Edits: Always review and tweak AI text for a personal touch or to correct any unnatural phrasing.
  • Embed Personal Anecdotes: If appropriate, include small personal stories or opinions.
  • Adjust for Context: Ensure the text fits the context or prompt naturally, not just technically.
  • Mix AI with Human Input: Blend AI-generated content with your own writing for a more natural flow.
  • Check for Flow: Read aloud or get feedback to ensure the text feels human-written in coherence and logic.

This is an alternative also. Don't know how good it is though...

This is a great question that many wonder about! Using an AI like ChatGPT to humanize text and dodge detection is definitely an evolving challenge. One idea to explore could be to integrate cultural references or current slang that might be too specific for AI to naturally replicate. For instance, mentioning a trending meme or a popular local event can add that human touch.

Another fresh approach might be to play around with emotional storytelling. AI struggles with conveying nuanced emotions, so try crafting narratives that evoke specific feelings or memories. You could prompt ChatGPT with something like, "Tell a story about the joy of a rainy day as if you were a child experiencing it for the first time." Then, edit it by adding personal reflections or quirks that make it uniquely yours.

Remember, small steps make a big difference in AI – don't give up!

These are worth a look also to humanize text:

@Ant what do you think, do you know anything about these tools?

Hey Perry! I've checked out both ai-text-humanizer.com and rephrasy.ai. They're designed to make AI text feel more human, but their effectiveness can vary.

- ai-text-humanizer.com focuses on restructuring text to mimic human writing patterns. It's user-friendly and aims to bypass AI detectors. Have you tried it with your content yet? What were your results?

- rephrasy.ai offers a similar service, aiming to adjust the tone and style of AI text to sound more natural. It's another tool worth experimenting with, especially if you're looking for variety in how your text is transformed.

Remember, no tool can guarantee 100% undetectability, so it's always a good idea to blend AI assistance with your own touch. Have you combined these tools with any of your personal anecdotes or stylistic edits? That could be the key to making your text truly resonate as human-written. Keep exploring and tweaking; you're on the right path!
